Monday and Tuesday

Thanks guys for commenting. Sorry for leaving out the 'boring' bits. Food is pretty good, except been tricked into buying food from expensive restaurants twice. Promised ourselves it won't happen again. Found something as good as (if possible) kebabs, which is souvlaki (seasoned meat on a stick) wrapped in pita bread with tzatziki (Greek yogurt and grated cucumber), tomato and red onion.

Awesome news that James is honorary prefect. Makes going away a whole lot more worth it (honestly). Good to hear that the conference was a worthwhile experience and that the school program thing is pretty good.

Rooster won the fight, but it was a close call. Wasn't fast enough to film the fight, but got the aftermath (though there wasn't much of it).

We had a big mix-up with buses from the Peloponnese and when we thought we were going to Nafplio, but there was only a bus to Athens, so we ended up there. We are going to bus to Petra (where we ferry to Italy in three days) and hire a car there to do a quick(er than before) tour of the Peloponnese.

Thanks all for commenting and I will try to post when possible.

  1. Awesome stuff... if u like souvlaki, there's a store called "Souvlaki Hut" in Westmead which sells all that ethnic stuff. And what has Tom been doing for the past 2 weeks! THE PROGRAM IS SOOO BAD! It's as boring as anything! the next few weeks aren't going fast enough :(

Yeajh, james has stepped in for a bit. He liked the conference the other day, which is good. can u believe it! Kristina Keneally spoke and i didn't get the chance to throw a single thing at her! i was pre devo :( oh well. Ahn Do was heaps mad! really funny guy.

hope u have a nice time in Italy, it's supposed to be pre awesome! Glad u are all having a good time throwing up (Gemma) and riding around. Have u been driving over there? try give it a go, yeah??

  2. Sounds great Alex. It's good that you're eating local food, not just english food, as you should definitely try anything (probably not any choice really, but still). As for the program being "bad", we happen to have a jamberoo excursion coming up (which you, Alex, got picked to go to, but you're away obviously, but still nice to know you got picked), a maths pizza party, and also a performing arts concert. Does that sound bad to you?

The planning for The Harry Potter Movie Day is in motion.

Have fun for the rest of your time in Greece.

P.S. Anybody noticed something odd about OUR posting times; otherwise everyone seems to be posting stuff at 3 in the morning, which can't be right. Maybe i'm just confused, and missing some obvious point here. ????
